One of the books most tender teenage years but our favorite children's novel, 'A child counts the stars' Menelaus Loudemis will "come alive" again in the form of musical expression that carries the namesake title, Sunday, April 21 Athens Concert Hall. The timeless Costas Voutsas and dynamic Thanassis Tsaltabasis share the lead roles in the show. The songs of the show will be heard on stage by an artist with sensitivity and love children, John Plutarchos. An important interpreter participating selflessly in this production, and he wanted to offer his own moment in childhood dream, the joy and the struggle of the child to education.
The "journey" of this production began in 2009. The premiere of the work-as a metaphor of the book for all ages-held with great success at the Megaron in two Sold Out shows on 20 and 21 November, with many artists such as Paschalis Terzis, Zeta Makripoulia, Gerasimos Andreatos Zecharias Karounis lyric singers like Katia Pashou, Kostis Rasidakis, George Samartzis etc. and acclaimed actors like George Souxes, Takis Chrysoulis, Manolis Destounis, Kostas Laskos directed by John Voglsi and conductor George Aravides
Great success continued our collaboration with the Cyprus Theatre Organisation, directed by Nicholas Couroumtzis in 2012 where he broke record after tickets were over 100 performances for all ages and entered the official program of the Cyprus Ministry of Education for elementary school children and high school.
Four (4) years after the very successful musical performance for small-and big friends "A child counts the stars," inspired by the novel of Menelaus Loudemis George Voukanou music - will take place at the Megaron (Hall Al. Triantis) Sunday, April 21, 2013 having the assets of great actors, major performers and several emerging artists.
In this production there will be escorting Symphony Orchestra with the participation of the Choir Schools Giannopoulos (numbering 50 members). All players are revived through hypocritical talent and their interpretation memories and images from the famous prose Menelaus Loudemis, which constitutes the autobiography of important Greek writer while featuring an entire season with the social references of a director of Isminis Sakellaropoulou.
The show will follow the footsteps of Melios, child, counting the stars as counts dreams, with anxiety, expectations and love for life. We'll get together in the big city, where the school is located, the realization of the great dream. Never before had gone to school ... and now the school seemed like the heart of the most beautiful part of the world ...
Letters will learn there, great letters ... And hope for a life different from that lived far little orphan boy, begins to appear in the exam, the first day of school ...

The first Autumn in the great state ...
The Melios looked from the bridge the road, "reaches the white, large building, apart from poplar and his heart started beating louder and louder. The stubbornness' gives courage they needed to continue chasing a distant dream ...
In the big city, where the boys wore a school uniform with cap .... There would meet dream of in high school in the state, there would of the first tests ... In a normal school ...
Until then learned to read and write with the help of a teacher's esteem in the village, undocumented and ... plakontylo secretly boss, after work in the fields and pens ... Now the school seemed like the heart of the grandest and most important part of the world where you will finally learn the letters, which are so craved ....
And now, wandering alone in the city ...
Until now Melios thought, what needed to be happy would find the letters .... In the village looked in books, in "History of Sinbad the Sailor" in every paper brought from the city chartopouleia of the Barba village. Along with the heifers every night read all the stories of the world ... and become wiser every day ....
"I want to learn letters and see what is in front of me and do not see ..."
But the town is frozen so the first Fall and nobody wants the little boy home. Desperately searching a home and a warm hug to spend the night of .. And he finds near his family and Gypsy Bithrou favorite uncle risen. The methods have the superintendent of the school, a good scholar Prof. Skamvouras the gymnast Aglaitsa and other heroes will support him in his fight and will help him to overcome the difficulties that are constantly on the road ...
